    Great foods for fertility

Having read about fertility rates dropping and the population choosing to start their family later in life, which in itself reduces your ability to produce an abundant supply of health eggs..... I thought I waould start a thread about foods that can help boost the quality of your eggs, or make the 'environment' a welcoming place for sperm etc.

I was always intrigued by the notion that foods look and represent what they are best for looking after, and avocado is no exception. To me they represent the womb and mother and baby, so it comes as no surprise that avocados are considered an essential food in maintaining the quality of your eggs.

So what are the characteristics that make avocados so great for preganancy?

I hear pomegranates are very good, and they do look like an overly full of eggs. I don’t know why they are classed as good, they are very red, so maybe it’s the beta carotene content.

The natural oils and high fat content is good for your eggs apparently.

It’s crazy how the foods that are good for us resemble the the areas on our body where the benefits are most felt.

Fresh salmon is rich in omega 3 so I would try to include that in your diet
