    Wales appear slightly confused

I recently read an article suggesting that Wales was set to allow children aged 16 and above to vote in the local Government elections, a move I am not altogether happy with for many reasons I won't go into.

Today I read an article to say that Wales bans tongue and intimate piercings for under 18's

Which is it Wales, are 16 year olds old enough to make informed decisions or not? I think they are sending out the wrong messages.

It does seem rather stupid, I suppose the decision makers see it as protecting the under 18ís.

This is a bit like the mind set in America, whereas you can legally own a gun at the age of 16, but you can't buy a pint of beer until you are 18. Crazy!
