New virus threats on the rise

It seems a year does not pass without a new animal virus circulating out from China, this year is no exception with two new strains G4 and H7N9 https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle...IKBANc-mUOtseA
Being two new cases in point!

It is all too easy to point the finger at China and blame them for their love of animals in any form! But maybe we should a little closer to home, we are mixing species more and more, we feed cattle with fish, this is not a natural food source for these animals, it is mixing species, we need to start taking a long hard look at our practices and consider getting back to what is natural. After all nature has a structure, a law, it seems every living thing on the planet understands this law, with the exception of humans!

With the dramatically changing climate, destruction of rainforests and melting of polar caps, ignoring this natural law will be our downfall and a risk we take at our peril!

But to be fair, it does seem like all the viruses that humans seem to contract do emanate out of China.

I do agree that animals should only be fed foods they are designed to eat and would naturally choose to eat.

I watched a documentary that showed that as humans we need somewhere to live and as we take over large areas of land inhabited by the big animals they become extinct because of their size. But the small animals like rats go underground and thrive on the environment where humans leave waste which provides a breeding ground for viruses like COVID-19 which started life in a bat! Our habits are making these viruses thrive and spread!

Why do you make the connection between climate change and the onset of new viruses?

I wish humans would stop eating wild animals, unless absolutely needed. If you live in the cities, it is not needed at all.
