    Humanity reaching beyond!

Just when I think there must be a turning point in when we start to understand humanities impact on the world, I am once again reminded that we are doomed!

The media reports today that there is a company preparing to put advertising with lasers into space and for this to shine brightly above mega cities! is there a need to push consumerism more? To add more debris into space? Surely we have learnt that our actions of consumerism have devastated the planet, wiped out thousands of species, wiped out massive swathes of forest which keep out planets ecosystem stable.

Why are we allowing this to occur to benefit the very limited few!

There seems to be no conscience in marketing and we will all pay the price in the future

    Why? What’s the point?

How many people are really encouraged to buy something just because we see the word, Nike, or Chanel? What damage will be done to the environment in getting these machines up there?

I despair, the mixed messages from governments is unbelievable, one minute they are taxing us all for climate change, and the next they are agreeing to absolute rubbish to be displayed in outer space! For rubbish we don’t need!
